Profitability
Content on the profitability calculation in the simulation
Break-even point
The break-even point indicates when you have recovered your investment with the new system and start generating profit.
Break-even point = Annual savings of the new system / Total investment
Total investment
The total investment is the sum of the costs of the various generators and consumers, such as the PV system, heat pump, and wallbox.
The costs for each generator and consumer can be set individually in three different ways by clicking on them in the simulation:
System price
The system price is the sum of all installed component costs that you have defined in the data sheet or in the planning phase. In the product database, for example, you can define a price per PV module. This price is multiplied by the number of planned PV modules. The same applies to, for example, inverters.
Flat price
Here you can define a fixed price including a margin in € or % that should be applied to this generator or consumer.
Offer
With this option, you can apply the total price of an existing or new offer for the profitability calculation. If you apply the same offer to multiple generators or consumers, the price will only be applied once.
Return on Investment
The return, or Return on Investment (ROI), describes the savings from your PV system in relation to your total investment. Read more
