Distinguishing between exterior and interior walls
It’s important to first differentiate between exterior walls, which are directly exposed to the outside environment, and interior walls, which border unheated spaces. This information is essential for accurately understanding and optimizing heat transfer within the building.

Using the legend, you can easily see how each wall element has been categorized.

Automatic window detection
The 3D scan helps automatically detect exterior windows and assign the surrounding wall as an exterior wall.
If a window is actually located on an interior wall (e.g., between two rooms), you can manually edit the corresponding wall and mark it as an interior wall.
