Yes, with LiDAR scanning, you can move from room to room and perform a continuous scan — as long as the total distance does not exceed the sensor’s maximum range. The software automatically links the data to create a coherent floor plan. Make sure to keep doors open so the scanner can maintain a clear line of sight between rooms.

This ability to create a seamless, continuous scan across multiple rooms is an exclusive feature of our Premium package. In contrast, the Basic version allows you to scan individual rooms only.

The key difference between a room scan and a floor scan is that a room scan captures each space individually, while a floor scan records the entire level in one continuous process. This is especially useful for generating detailed floor plans and for more comprehensive documentation and analysis.
