1. Where to Find the Floor Scan

The Floor Scan is fully integrated into the standard scanning process and runs automatically in the background. There's no extra step required.

You can find the generated 2D floor plan in the Documents Overview.

2. Automatic Updates

After each room is scanned, the Floor Scan updates automatically and stitches the rooms together into a 2D floor plan.

3. Changes in the View

The 3D view of the entire floor is no longer available.

Instead, the clear and simplified 2D floor plan remains for better orientation and usability.

4. Important Scanning Rules for Best Results

To ensure a smooth and accurate scan, please follow these guidelines:

✅ Keep the camera unobstructed:

Make sure nothing covers the camera between scans.

✅ Ensure overlap between rooms:

When you scan a new room, capture part of the previously scanned room again. This helps the software properly align and connect the rooms.

✅ Do not stop or close the scan:

The scan continues running in the background. Leave it active while scanning different rooms—don’t interrupt or end it manually.

5. New Scanning Flexibility

Autarc 2.0 allows you to scan one room at a time. That means:

You can scan and edit each room individually (e.g., add radiators).

Then move on to the next room when you're ready.

Important: Always keep the camera unobstructed to ensure smooth scanning.

6. How to Disable the Floor Scan

If you prefer not to run the Floor Scan in the background, you can disable it under:

Settings → Devices.
