How do I enter a balcony door?

There are two possible approaches, depending on the design of the balcony door:

If the balcony door is similar in construction to a typical exterior door, it can be entered as such in Autarc — or the value of an existing exterior door can be increased accordingly.

This approach is especially recommended if the door has similar insulation properties to a standard exterior door.

If the balcony door resembles a window — for example, in terms of glazing and frame structure — the window area should be adjusted.

This means increasing the total window area by the surface area occupied by the balcony door.
